What is Charge Powerbank?
Charge Powerbank is a network of swappable battery share kiosks that allow you to have access to unlimited battery power. Download the app. Plug in your information. Scan the barcode on the kiosk. Rent the Powerbank. And you are on-the-go with portable battery power.
How do I download the app?
The app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
How much does it cost to rent a Powerbank?
Most of our kiosks have a short time frame of free charging. After that, it only costs $1.50 to rent for the first hour, and $1.50 for each additional hour. Do not worry, if you want to hold on to it all day, we will only charge you $6 max for the entire day. Each day thereafter, we will charge $6 until you have reached a $30 max spend (5 full days)
How long will it take to charge my phone or device?
We have tested this a million times, and it's always different depending on your device. But really it can charge your phone from about 5% to 80% in less than an hour.
What if the Powerbank station is not working?
Dang it! We are so sorry. Give us a call or send us an email and we will get you squared away.
What if the Powerbank does not eject out of the station?
Do not worry, help is here. Call 678-664-9115 or email us at pbsupport@charge.us and we will assist.
What if my phone is already dead?
Ask a friend or someone nearby to help. We have all been there!
How long can I keep the Powerbank?
You can keep the Powerbank as long as you'd like. But we do not recommend this. The battery will only charge your phone 1 or 2 times before it's dead. Make sure to return the Powerbank or you will keep incurring fees to rent it per hour/day.
What happens if I do not return the Powerbank?
We charge $1.50 per hour, with a $6 max spend in the first day. On the second day, we charge you $6 again. We will charge you $6 every day until we recoup a total of $30 (5 days). Then the Powerbank is yours...!
Can I rent multiple Powerbanks?
Yes, you can. But there are some cases where it will be limited, and the application will inform you.
How do I find an available Powerbank station to rent from?
Simply download our app and you will see a map of available Powerbank kiosks.
What if the station I am returning my Powerbank to is already full?
Just open the app and look for a nearby kiosks that has empty slots. If you cannot find any, call 678-664-9115 or email us at pbsupport@charge.us and we will assist.
What happens if there are no Powerbank to rent at my location?
Open the app to see a map full of locations that have available Powerbank.
What will happen if I keep the Powerbank forever?
You will be charged $6 each day you do not return it. Once we hit $30 (5 days), the Powerbank is now yours.
Can I re-charge my Powerbank at home?
Yes! But do not forget, we are charging you to keep it.
Do I have to return it to the same Powerbank station?
No. This is the beauty of our "rent here, return there" model. Open the app to find a ton of other locations where you can rent and return the Powerbank's.
Can I return a Powerbank to a different station than the one I rented it from?
Yes. Utilize the map in the app to find the location nearest to you.
What if I lose the Powerbank?
On noooo! It is ok, just call 678-664-9115 or email us at pbsupport@charge.us and we will assist. We understand.
What if I have accidently damaged the Powerbank?
Accidents happen. We understand. Just give us a call 678-664-9115 or email us at pbsupport@charge.us and we will assist.
What if I have my device plugged in to the Powerbank and it's still not charging?
Look on the side of the Powerbank, there is a little button. Press it! Magic!
What devices can I charge?
The Powerbank has 3 connections: Apple (iPhone), mini-USB, and USB-c (USB3).
How do I dispute a billing or request a refund?
Please contact us.
Do you have GPS on the battery?
No, we do not. Only the Powerbank Kiosks we have GPS on.
What information do you gather from me?
You give us your nick name and cell phone number to sign up. You will enter your payment information when prompted. Other than that, we don’t want to know much more!
